Thanks for a perfect long weekend. Nine of us spent a very happy weekend watching the World Cup and enjoying the delights of Swanage. For many it was their first time and the house provided a great base for us to explore. Walking to Durlston Castle and swimming in the bay and we may have visited a couple of pubs along the way. It's about a mile to the far end of town and a pleasant enough walk. We loved the new kitchen and wet room. The Cost Cutter has everything you need, the chippy and curry house are excellent and The Globe is a local's pub and very welcoming. Note: the chippy cook to order so expect a long wait (or nip off and do something else)
