In 1976, my uncle bought two abandoned cottages from the local Methodist church and converted them into a single home. For the next 25 years it provided a happy holiday home for hundreds of families including our own.
In 2001 I was able to buy the house and for many years, family and friends were able to enjoy the cottage. For the last few years, the house has had several long-term tenants, but when they decided to leave, we felt it was time to make it available for holiday lets again.
